January 13, 2010 Link to this post Wednesday Comic Roundup
I thought I'd wait and see if the Wednesday Reclaimer was posted - but it doesn't seem that it's going to be. You can still visit Hawty McBloggy's to read ODS Steve #56 (City Planning), or Halo Action Figure Theater to read Episode 196 (The New Girl) - government idiocy and mysterious resurrections are both covered. January 12, 2010 Link to this post The Heart of Midlothian Comes Alive
We don't usually use prewritten blurbs, but this one's pretty good: 343 Industries has partnered with ONE to create a stunning motion comic based on Frank O'Connor's Halo: Evolutions short story. Told in ONE's unique artistic style, "Midnight in the Heart of Midlothian" is a story of bravery and sacrifice in the darkest parts of space. "Midnight in the Heart of Midlothian" will air weekly as a four-part series exclusive to Halo Waypoint, starting this Saturday, January 16th. After the final episode, the Midlothian series will be available on Waypoint indefinitely so fans can come back to watch this amazing story again and again. We're happy to be able to bring you the trailer in 720p downloadable beauty - you can grab a copy from us in WMP9 (24.4 mb) or QuickTime (29.4 mb) formats. This was a wonderful story in the Evolutions collection, and an animated retelling makes my feet tingle. Go grab the trailer - and look forward to Part 1 on Waypoint this Saturday! Pierre Tartaix told us about a new machinima from TGO GMBH - Dance Little Liar tells a sad tale of cowardice and betrayal, but does so without any spoken dialogue.
