We make-a you laugh
Psyjnir.com has overhauled their Comics section; there are now two categories. Funnies is for any Bungie-related comic strips (there's a size requirement), submissions are accepted. Storyline will house comics telling the (twisted and sick) story of the Psyjnir Complex, every Monday Wednesday, and Friday. Check 'em out! (Louis Wu 03:03:27 UTC)

New Halo sites open
Eep - we missed the opening of the Halo hub at Forerunners.org. There's not much content on the main site yet (mostly stuff snagged off Bungie's Tru7h and Reconciliation site), but there are two hosted Halo pages already; EvergreenHalo and Halo Elites. If you want to build a Halo site, check 'em out! (Louis Wu 09:07:09 UTC)

HJP comes online
This came in Saturday, but due to the holiday weekend, it was overlooked. HaloJuggaloProductions has gone live - it's a Halo site with Halo news, some downloads (ENORMOUS gameplay movies - 80 mb for under 4 minutes of rockets on Blood Gulch, for example), an upcoming forum. Check 'em out! (Louis Wu 16:43:00 UTC)

Shallow Throat?
The Psyjnir Complex claims to have a source on the inside - the inside of WHAT, we don't know - with some information about the future of the Halo franchise. Or maybe it's the local McDonald's franchise. I can never tell. Check 'em out anyway. (Louis Wu 16:59:44 UTC)

OXM UK articles scanned
Thanks to Griffon, who last month sent in scans from the July 2002 issue of the Official UK Xbox Magazine. There is a 10-page spread on Halo (lots of good info, and an interview with Jaime Griesemer, Halo 2's Lead Designer), and a short teaser on Halo 2. Check 'em out in our Press Scans section! Where's that dang 'upcoming mods' page?
Roger Wilco, unwilling to wait for Halo tools to be released, has added another few designs to his 'Halo Vehicles' page - the 'Warbow', the 'Lobster', and my personal favorite, the 'GNERD'... check 'em out. (Don't forget to follow the little movie icons at the beginning of each entry - they lead to short quicktime flicks showing a full 360° view...) (Louis Wu 02:46:09 UTC)

New Fanfic series started
Today's Fan Fiction update consists of a pair of chapters from Jean-Paul Allee, the first and second of his 'Into the Unknown' series. Check 'em out! (We also got two copies of a story from Gordi... but both were corrupt upon arrival, and Gordi's email is blocked by his ISP - mailbox is full. Maybe he'll see this...) Update: Gordi DID see this... and sent in another copy of 'Upon This Stage (Prologue 1)'. (Louis Wu 16:31:33 UTC)

Two new 7th Column Themes out
Bungie's Seventh Column site has news of two new themes for use by chapters - a Master Chief theme created by Stosh, and a Tru7h theme created by Jonah Friedman. I picked a random pair of chapters sporting these themes - you can see the MC theme on The Elite Enforcers' site (they're a central Florida team offering $200 if anyone can beat them on both Blood Gulch and Sidewinder), and the Tru7h theme is in use for the Central Florida Halo chapter, another CF team headed up by forum regular PCDestroyer. Check 'em out! (Louis Wu 11:19:57 UTC)

More multiplayer tips from drunkgamers
Eep - Drunkgamers.com stopped notifying us when new installments of their multiplayer tips series come out (we might have pissed them off by forgetting to post about a Drunkathon they held a little while back), and we forgot to go back and look. In the past month, they've posted parts five (how NOT to win at KOTH), six (pick your CTF partners well) and seven (using the flat spin technique to keep yourself from flipping in a jeep). Check 'em out! (Louis Wu 13:55:12 UTC)
