More server browsers available
Another pair of Game server browsers are now Halo-compatible: Server Watch v3.4.2 now has a Halo plugin, and Kquery4 (Alpha) supports Halo. Check 'em out! (These are, again, alternatives to the in-game server browser provided by Gamespy.) (Louis Wu 11:22:54 UTC)

Halo Clan Update
A bunch of clan mail we haven't gotten to yet:
- Halo 4 Ever - German clan
- Mortus Immortalis - gaming clan with a recently-formed Halo division
- Clan Omnipotence - Xbox Halo clan, recruiting
- Team GyA - Halo PC clan, currently recruiting
- team execute - german Halo PC clan (they also have an IRC channel at #execute-team @quakenet)

Halo Vehicles in a North African desert...
Ross Mills pointed out some new screenshots over at the Home Front website (a Halo total conversion for Battlefield 1942 - we mentioned this about a month and a half ago). Models look a bit flat in their desert environments... but that's probably gonna change. Check 'em out! (Louis Wu 18:48:11 UTC)

On the BOLL
Three Miscellaneous entries by BOLL, over the past week - all have been posted to our forum, but they all have a permanent home here now at HBO, and some organization has been applied. In no particular order:
- Halo Clock 2 - BOLL reinvents an older Flash animation in an eminently watchable toy.
- Sentinels - Looking almost as though they'd come from a dev kit, here are several animated views of Sentinels, opening and closing for you. (Javascript required.)
- Mapping Halo - A very high-quality look at the map tiles Bungie used to create the Halo itself; lays to rest several questions about the accuracy of the ring, as you can see it in various places.
If you missed these when they first came through, check 'em out now. If you were impressed once, pass the URLs on to your friends, and watch THEIR jaws drop. BOLL proves, several times over, that his Halo-induced creativity is awesome. (Louis Wu 14:39:04 UTC)

New screenies at IGN
IGN has posted 11 new Halo PC screens (mostly multiplayer) - they're only 800x600, but they're still beautiful. (Nobody over there has Dave Candland's setup skills, though...) Gamelords - Halo fun in San Diego
Ben Torrence writes to tell us about GameLords, a new console gaming center in San Diego - they're hosting a Halo tournament on August 2, 2003. Entry fee is $5, game is solo Slayer to 25 kills. Top 16 players get t-shirts, top 8 get free time on their equipment, and the winner will get a Steel Battalion set. Gameplay is all on 65" Mitsubishi HDTVs. Wow. Every week, we get email from folks who want their site to be added to our Links list. We announce 'em all... but it's rare that I'm as impressed with one as I am with Halogamers.com.
