NZ-TK: EVA and EOD Helmets
Hello all, I finished sculpting this back in January, and I've been meaning to put some pics up for a while. The visor in the picture is not the final one, and has not got most of the details sculpted on it. It was a test pull, to make sure the plastic wouldnt lock on the buck and its been painted with really nasty plastikote gold.....yuk... plastokote gold NEVER cures, you give it a bump and the surface turns to rubbish (as you can see in the picture mmmm scratchy visor.. :/). Ive been meaning to pull a new visor from the finished master for painting properly (with clear pearl yellow) for about a month but as yet I havn't had time, hopefully I'll find the time in the next few weeks The paint job is pretty simple, just white with light weathering, and some dark silver spray with a few washes. These pictures were taken about a month ago, I've since done a bit more painting. I'll upload some better pictures with the new visor at some stage. Thanks for looking.
