Santa Monica, Calif. - October 31, 2011 - GameTrailers today launched its "Halo Anniversary Celebration," two weeks of exclusive features and content honoring the 10-year anniversary of Halo and release of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on November 15, 2011. Beginning today, Halo fans can enjoy an exclusive launch trailer of the game, the debut of a special four-part retrospective, the opportunity to enter the "Halo Fan of the Decade" contest and much more.

Parts two, three and four will air on November 3, November 7 and November 10 respectively.

"Halo Fan of the Decade" contest - Through Monday, November 7, 2011
In celebration of the tenth anniversary of one of the most beloved video game franchises in history, GameTrailers and Xbox have teamed up to launch a "Halo Fan of the Decade" contest available only on GameTrailers.com/Halo-Anniversary. Beginning today through November 7, 2011, fans are encouraged to submit a picture proving they are the fan of the decade for a chance to win the ultimate Halo reward.

As a part of their entry, contest participants will have their photo uploaded to a groundbreaking 3D mosaic of Master Chief, living on Xbox.com. On November 7 at 9:00 a.m. PST, GameTrailers will close the contest and Xbox will select one winner who will be revealed on SPIKE TV on November 13, 2011. That evening, the winner will appear in a personalized trailer that will air during the network's world premiere of a new Halo commercial and the lucky fan will also win a home entertainment system complete with a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.
