Unknowingly
Unsung Heroes
I remember those men Those men and their screams Their screams, groans, and yells of agony We shared the pain The blood The sweat The tears They fought gallantly Bravely Strongly Unprecedented They fought by my side Died by my side Cried by my side These men These men that died Lived and died Lived and died at my side These are the heroes The Unsung Heroes
Legends
There was a man He had no name They just called him Sir For what reason it escapes me I hear he fought Fought in the thirty year war His past is shrouded For what reason I do not know He fought bravely and with hope Hope that one-day victory Would unravel into his palm A victory so imminent it was a myth He killed many men They say he was a tiger A tiger in waiting to pounce on his enemies He attacked like lightning and vanished just the same He killed with prejudice unknown to man He became a Legend A Legend that still lives today
