This is a method that will prove usefull in multiplayer.
You can get two melee attacks in the time it would take to do about one. Hit the Melee button followed by throwing a grenade and the hit melee button again. You may be surprised at how fast you can melee attack. Make sure you hit all those buttons fast for better results.
