If you like fighting up close and personal, like me, I use a combination
attack to weaken the covenant and the flood. To do this on covenant, just hit
the R trigger and immediately hit the 'b' button. It fires a bullet and a melee
for super damage. (just don't use a rocket when doing this)
For the flood, strafe back a little, throw a grenade, and fire your bullets at
them. Don't worry if
you kill the flood before the grenade detonates, cause if there is more around
him they'll die with him.
