Tarps Everywhere

The Code Solving Pace Increases
Another map pack, another glyph code - GunRunner48 informed us that the Section 3 crowd has already decrypted the code buried in the Majestic Map Pack. You Got Some Halo 3 In My Halo 4
TheIncomeTaxes and Insane Alpha Beta found what I think is the coolest Halo 4 easter egg so far - they found images of Tsavo Highway from Halo 3 cleverly hidden in some of the Forge piece reflections. Welcome to Majestic
A couple of days ago, we mentioned 'Welcome to Landfall' - and then yesterday, Halo Waypoint released 'Welcome to Monolith'. Revisiting a 10-year-old talk

Still Fulfilling His Destiny
Newer readers might be curious about the watermark in the background of the front page today, while Bungie.org veterans will probably just give a wink, smile, or respectful nod to a day so many will always remember. Today marks the 10th anniversary that the Bungie fan community lost one of its bravest, Brian Morden, to Ewing's Sarcoma. Brian's spirit forged pathways into the hearts of many, and remains something that will never die. Last year, mad.max wrote up a small summary for those interested in knowing more. Note that the link in that post to the Brian Morden Foundation seems to be borked, but this one works just fine. Breaking the Silencium
Some interesting bits are starting to trickle out from Greg Bear regarding some lovely details about the Halo story and things specifically dealing with the upcoming finale of the Forerunner Saga, Halo: Silentium. Greg actually lets us know which Didact we faced in Halo 4 (many had strong suspicions, but it's nice to see something "official"). He also drops a name of an upcoming new character that will be featured in Halo: Silentium (thanks to ajw34307 over at the Waypoint Forums for noticing that one). Awesome stuff!
