I just came back from the party. It was an awesome, awesome event. I think i got there just in time since i was standing outside with friends and the hotel people kicked everyone out because the lobby got packed. So i was the first in line. After i got in, we were taken to a big room with bunch of tv's and four projectors. It was pretty nice. Anyways i contacted Matt and told him that i was told by Louis to do live updates and he was like " What?? I am gonna have to talk to Louis about that". Anyways after that he told me and my friend to stay at the main screen so we stood around there. And i am happy to say that i was the first person to play it. The game is the most phenomenal game i have ever played. The intro movie was funny as hell and it was a good touch. After that the party got under way. And pretty much everyone got to play. Yeah there were a few hoggers but the bungie people took care of them with nicely. Poor Matt looked tired as hell and people would not leave him. He was almost always surrounded by atleast four or five people trying impress him but he was pretty nice. Co-founder Alex also showed up quietly. I didnt see much of him but he was around. Marty the sound guy was very nice and was having a great time talking to people and just having fun. The guy who did some of the voices in Oni (the really tall guy) was also there and did the "Dont make me hurt you" impression for everyone. I think it was his wife who i was talking to, apparently she was in complete awe of what was going on. The food was good but scarce since people picked up three sandwiches and 5 or 6 slices of pizza at one time. But i got a good sandwich and a soda :) Lets see what else?.... Oh the raffle. The funniest part was when Matt was raffling the XBOX, he had to call three ticket numbers since the first two ticket holders left and Matt was like " I cant believe it. They left !!" They also gave out five copies of Halo and T-shirts. Lots of people left after the raffle so i played the game for a good long while. I dont have to stay anything about the game since most of you already know about it, except that the game looks far more awesome and graphically eye-popping then what we see in the gamespot movies. I also took a bunch of pictures which i will post as soon as i get them developed. All in all it was an awesome event and i am glad that i was a part of it. Salute to the Bungie people who planned this event and for making such an awesome game. So my fellow Bungie lovers, play the game, have fun and dont forget to check out the pictures. Peace out.
