It says 'Only on Xbox'! Why is it out on PC and Mac? What platforms will Halo be available on? Halo will be available on the Xbox, Macintosh, and Windows. Will Halo have editors? Halo on the Xbox will not have an editor, nor will it support add-on missions in any way. Halo for the PC/Mac might have a level editor, Bungie has stated a desire to release one, but what will happen is still up in the air. Too soon to tell. Who are the Halo SETI Marines? How can I join the team? SETI is the Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence. It's a project that's been ongoing for years. Data from radio telescopes gets analyzed for big anomalous spikes (anything that would suggest a source that wasn't natural). The amount of data coming in from the various telescopes around the world was far greater than the computing power available to analyze it, but last year, someone had the great idea of distributing the processing requirements to folks all over the web, and the SETI@Home project was born. If you go to the main SETI@Home page, You'll find lots of informational links to tell you more. Of course, any time you set up a situation where many people are doing the same thing, you open the door for friendly competition... so they allowed the formation of teams, to collect processing power. The Halo SETI Marines process SETI units while we wait for Halo 2 to be released. You can join the Halo team by following this link to the Halo SETI Marines page and then clicking the "Join" link at the top of that page. (You'll need to follow the "Get a password" link at the bottom of the join page first.) Where can I get a copy of the Halo font? An "official" version? You can't. The Halo logo was created by artists at Bungie, and is not based on any existing font. Several fan sites have created further letters in the style of the original four (and see this shocking exposé at Marathon's Story), but there is no way, other than further artistry, to get new letters. HOWEVER: Will Turnbow has actually supplied the artistry - and a pair of fonts (outline and regular, in a variety of formats) is available from our site here.
